Zafio
Zafio is a forward-thinking piano trio blending modern jazz, electronic production, and interrnational musical influences into a fresh, dynamic sound. Formed at the Thelma Yellin School of Arts as teenagers, the trio has developed a deep musical chemistry that drives their exploratory and emotionally charged performances.
Their upcoming album The Raft (recorded at Nilento Studios, Sweden) was produced by Shai Maestro and features collaborations with Gilad Hekselman and Ben Wendel, positioning Zafio as one of the most promising young voices emerging from the Israeli jazz scene.
The trio continues to push boundaries, merging acoustic virtuosity with electronic textures and a bold compositional language.
